Fruit Custard

This fruit custard is one of the easiest recipes which is loved by all whether they are children or adults.
This is my personal favorite because I love sweets so much and sometimes in refrigerator when there is no sweets I quick make this and cool for a while in refrigerator and serve.
If you donot have fruits at home you can add simply nuts raisins or any sort of dry fruits which is available. Today in my house I was having only a banana left so i made it with banana and raisins . So garnishing is up to you and your choice whatever you like.

Ingredients-

  • Milk-1 cup/250ml
  • Vanilla custard  powder-1tbsp
  • Chilled milk-2tbsp
  • Sugar-2tbsp
  • Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp

Fruits-

  • Banana-1 sliced
  • Raisins-20

How to make-

Pour milk in a saucepan and boil. In a bowl take custard powder and add chilled milk and mix well without any lumps.
Now pour the custard mixture into the boiling milk and stir it continuously.
Now add sugar and keep stiring. Remember dont make this recipe in high flame, always low to medium .Cook for around 5minutes or untill it becomes thick. Keep it in mind that it will get more thick when it cools.
Once thickened, switch off the flame. Remove the custard in a bowl and bring it to room temperature. Once its cool then shift it into fridge for sometime. Now add the banana and raisins into the chilled custard and serve it . Or you can mix many fruits together and keep in fridge for more time then serve.
